About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering world-class operational support to the TCM business and proactively driving the end-to-end automation of key activities and processes within TCM Operations. The position involves providing TCM Operations product support to various customer groups, including RBG, CIBG, and IBG. Effective management of TCM Operations is crucial to ensure adequate control over and monitoring of trading, market, or credit risk, identification and escalation of deviations from authorized limits, and the timely processing, settlement, and accounting of FX, MM, and Capital market equity products, both locally and overseas.
Additionally, the role includes developing and executing a TCM Operations market and transformation strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and values. The candidate will implement appropriate control measures in line with internal as well as local and international regulatory/statutory frameworks (e.g., Basel) within TCM Operations. The job will also involve leading, managing, and developing multiple TCM Operations specialist teams that operate from both office and remote locations.

Responsibilities
- Effectively lead planning, operations, and problem-solving to ensure high-quality service delivery for TCM business in the UAE, in line with agreed service level agreements.
- Partner with TCM and CIBG, IBG, and RBG businesses and product teams to drive solutions for improved customer experience, efficiency, control, and quality service delivery.
- Lead the standardization and automation of activities within TCM Operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Drive efficiency through continuously identifying process and activity changes along with the delivery of benefit realization.
- Ensure optimal staff productivity and provide coaching and counseling to managers, including job rotation, cross-training, performance management, and addressing training needs and all other people-related activities.
- Ensure that unit operating procedures are clearly documented, reviewed, and kept up to date. Processes must be reviewed, and effective controls put in place to mitigate risks and safeguard the bank and its customers.
- Ensure that all units function in a controlled environment, achieving and maintaining a satisfactory audit rating and zero operational losses.
- Proactively engage in projects to ensure the successful delivery of the company's strategic initiatives through detailed planning for TCM Operations deliverables, appropriate progress reporting and escalation, and maximizing STP rates.
Qualifications
- Post Graduate Degree from a reputed university is desirable, or a Graduate with requisite experience from a top bank.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Treasury Operations at a medium-sized bank at a Senior Management level.
- Must have a technical understanding of all TCM products to ensure proper recording and identification of risks, and be familiar with valuation techniques of derivative products.
- Familiarity with Project Management in a Lean/Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of emerging digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with an ability to communicate complex digital concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills, capable of inspiring and motivating others.
- Good knowledge and understanding of local regulatory rules and legislation, along with various international requirements.
