The Senior Managing Consultant / Director role will spearhead GenAI-driven consulting engagements for clients, particularly within the financial services sector. This position involves leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists and ML engineers, to develop and implement GenAI solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop GenAI-Driven Strategies for Business Impact:
- Identify and quantify opportunities for GenAI within client organizations.
- Architect end-to-end GenAI solutions combining expertise in data engineering and domain-specific knowledge.
- Lead the alignment with executive stakeholders, translating AI visions into actionable plans.

Rapid, Iterative GenAI Delivery:
- Oversee project roadmaps in collaboration with AI engineering leaders, ensuring timely updates and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive a balanced approach to problem-solving focusing on both technical feasibility and strategic benefits.

Thought Leadership & External Network:
- Publish and present on GenAI methods and insights, building a network of experts and industry leaders.
- Advise on best practices regarding AI ethics, governance, and regulatory considerations.

Innovate & Scale the GenAI Operating Model:
- Develop new delivery frameworks and methodologies for GenAI project execution.
- Mentor junior colleagues and foster a robust GenAI community within the firm.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 10+ years leading data-driven strategies, preferably in financial services or payments.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI: Developed and deployed GenAI use cases with proven value.
- Thought Leadership: A history of publishing or speaking at recognized industry events on innovative AI solutions.
- Communication: Excellent presentation skills with the capacity to simplify complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Agile Mindset: Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern project management practices.
- Financial Services Domain: Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and operational challenges for card issuers.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing teams and mentoring talent.
- Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or related fields; Master’s degree or equivalent advanced study is preferred.
