The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the marketing efforts for HR Tech Abu Dhabi's event launch, requiring a mix of strategic and tactical skills. Working closely with the Portfolio Director, commercial team, content, operations, and the wider marketing function, you will develop campaigns that build awareness, drive registrations, and generate high-quality commercial leads. This role is ideal for an experienced events marketer who thrives on building brands and audiences and is excited about the opportunity to launch a major new HR technology event in the Abu Dhabi market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing and launch strategy for HR Technology Abu Dhabi, collaborating closely with the Portfolio Director and wider marketing team.
  • Initially own the day-to-day marketing of the event across the full marketing mix including email, social media, PPC, paid social, digital advertising, content, and database marketing, with the eventual transition of some tactical execution to a junior marketer.
  • Drive delegate registrations and ensure that campaigns consistently meet agreed volume and revenue targets.
  • Generate high-quality marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for the commercial team and collaborate with sales to maximize conversions.
  • Create compelling messaging and campaign content that clearly communicates the event's proposition, speakers, content, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities with relevant HR, technology, business, and professional organizations across the UAE and GCC.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the event's database and cultivate a strong, engaged community ahead of the launch and beyond.
  • Manage and monitor campaign performance, using data to make recommendations and adjust strategies based on results.
  • Closely monitor registrations and leads against targets, maintaining accurate reporting for the wider business.
  • Regularly track and report marketing spending against the budget.

Experience Required

  • At least 4 years' experience in an events marketing or B2B marketing role within the UAE or the wider Middle East market.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, social media, and paid media.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM (ideally Salesforce), and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for measuring campaign performance and optimizing activities.
  • Fluency in Arabic would be an advantage but is not essential.

What We Value

  • Commercially minded with a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to registrations, revenue, and sales pipeline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to create compelling marketing copy.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about building something from the ground up.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while adapting priorities as the event develops.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of working effectively with sales, content, operations, and senior leadership.
  • Knowledge or interest in HR technology, AI, employee experience, talent, workforce transformation, or the future of work is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience launching a new event, brand, product, or market is highly desirable.

What You'll Bring
This role is suited for someone who enjoys building brands and audiences from the ground up. You'll blend creativity with commercial focus to construct campaigns that resonate, as well as appreciate what drives registrations, leads, and revenue. You should be comfortable working autonomously and utilizing data to enhance performance continually. You will join a collaborative and ambitious marketing team where your ideas will be welcomed, creativity encouraged, and every team member plays a vital role in delivering successful events. If you are an experienced B2B events marketer eager to establish a major new HR technology event in Abu Dhabi, this is a standout opportunity to make a real impact.
