A reputed Civil & MEP Contracting Company in the UAE is seeking an experienced professional to lead mechanical works on ongoing building and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting) on building projects from mobilisation to handover
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements; coordinate approvals with consultants and clients
- Plan resources, manpower, and work sequences to meet project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other trades to resolve site clashes and design issues
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and snagging; prepare handover and as-built documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, and local authority requirements (DM/DCD/Civil Defence)
- Guide and mentor site engineers, foremen, and supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in MEP execution with Civil/MEP contracting companies, with GCC experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA)
- Experience handling high-rise, commercial, or residential building projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; MS Project/Primavera experience is an advantage
- UAE driving licence and Society of Engineers registration preferred
