We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical site supervision for a prestigious luxury hotel development in Diriyah. The successful candidate will ensure that all mechanical works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, international standards, and project quality requirements. This is a project-specific role and the successful candidate could be required on site up to 6 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the on-site authority, acting as a direct link to our clients and driving force ensuring sustainability commitments are realized.
  • Act as the primary client interface for all sustainability matters during construction, managing expectations, reporting progress, and solving challenges in real time.
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Design & Development: Create detailed mechanical designs, layouts, schematics, and calculations for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit to review and produce 2D/3D drawings, and HAP software for heat load calculations.
  • Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, BIM coordinators, and other engineers to integrate systems seamlessly.
  • Site Activities: Perform site inspections and surveys.
  • Compliance: Ensure designs meet relevant standards, regulations, and energy-efficiency goals.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports.

The Skills

  • Engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) with a background in building services design, including HVAC and public health systems.
  • Proven experience in a site supervision role working on luxury hotel, high-end hospitality, or complex building projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with proficiency in engineering software.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
