Key Accountabilities
Business Development Support
- Assist in business development activities by maintaining an up-to-date personal profile and resume.
- Build positive relationships with external parties, including customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Support proposals through the development of execution strategies, cost estimating, proposal writing, and presentations.
- May lead all or part of the technical proposal.
Business Operations
- Communicate team resource loading and skill requirements to supervisors or the Discipline Manager.
- Ensure project work is covered during vacations and unplanned absences.
- Mentor and train others while supporting the delivery of training.
- Assist in the employee performance review process.
- Encourage compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
Technical Competency
- Ensure compliance with engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Contribute to the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and templates.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in the design and selection of static equipment for onshore oil and gas projects.
- Preferably have experience in Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design, along with procurement management.
- Conduct document checking and design verification for compliance with specifications.
- Engage in customer workshops covering various design and operational reviews.
- Manage development of equipment specifications for static equipment, including compliance with environmental regulations.
Project Execution
- Participate in project strategy and planning, ensuring expectations are met and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Implement innovative solutions to manage project changes and progress.
- Plan and monitor discipline quality activities, recommending improvements as needed.
Project Deliverables
- Prepare engineering studies, analyses, calculations, and documentation, providing solutions for technical issues.
- Create final documentation for customer approval and review similar documents from direct reports.
Procurement Support
- Incorporate information into equipment specifications, data sheets, and requisitions, participating in bid evaluations and vendor reviews.
Site Support
- Collaborate with site personnel to resolve issues and create supporting documentation for construction, testing, and operations.
Qualifications
- Awarded a 4 or 5-year technical degree in science or engineering.
- Actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required.
- Training in risk management or quality is beneficial.
- Minimum of 12+ years of relevant discipline experience with a strong background in regulations and industry practices.

- Empowered to make responsible decisions with complex ones generally referred to senior members when necessary.
Supervision Received
- Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisors and operates under broad directives.
Supervision Authority
- May have up to 4 direct reports and involvement in performance evaluations.
Communication Skills
- Strong ability to communicate complex matters through proposals, presentations, and reports while collaborating with stakeholders.
Systems & Tools
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, with ability to organize information from various sources.
- Desirable skills in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint, with proficiency in engineering or design tools.

- Responsible for implementing HSE requirements and driving sustainable engineering outcomes.
