As a Senior Microsoft System Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and management of Microsoft Windows Server environments across multiple sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecting, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory, including forests, domains, GPOs, federation, identity management, and security hardening.
- Overseeing administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online and related collaboration services.
- Managing and architecting Microsoft Azure solutions, including compute, storage, networking, security, and governance.
- Driving infrastructure modernization, including migration projects (on-prem to cloud, domain restructuring, etc.).
- Leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and maintenance.
- Building and maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell to optimize operational tasks.
- Providing expert-level troubleshooting for complex system issues and leading root-cause analysis.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team skill development.
- Establishing and enforcing infrastructure best practices, compliance standards, and security policies.
- Preparing high-quality technical documentation, solution designs, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Systems Engineering roles.
- Expert knowledge of:
- Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory (multisite, replication, ADCS, ADFS, GPO management)
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, identity)
- Virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / VMware)
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, load balancing, failover clustering
- Strong experience in automation using PowerShell or similar scripting.
- Deep understanding of security hardening, patch management, compliance (ISO, NIST, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects and implementations.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Windows Server / Infrastructure certifications
- VMware or other virtualization certifications are a plus.
