We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with expertise in computer vision and image processing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and optimizing deep learning models and vision-language models (VLMs) for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, classification, text extraction, and fine-tuning for domain-specific applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Deploy AI Models:
- Train and optimize models for object detection, segmentation, and classification tasks related to architectural drawings.
- Fine-tune models like YOLO, R-CNN, and Transformer-based models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement optical character recognition (OCR) and symbol recognition to support automated compliance checking.

Image Processing & Enhancement:
- Develop techniques for lossless image compression and feature extraction.
- Improve image preprocessing pipelines to enhance the quality of architectural data.
- Utilize OpenCV and deep learning for comprehensive drawing analysis.

Fine-Tuning & Model Adaptation:
- Customize and fine-tune pre-trained VLMs to ensure their multimodal capabilities.
- Optimize model parameters and utilize transfer learning strategies for enhanced performance.

AI Model Optimization & Deployment:
- Optimize architectures to reduce computational costs while maintaining model accuracy.
- Deploy models on cloud or on-premises infrastructure, with Docker or Kubernetes being a plus.
- Integrate AI workflows into AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) environments, an additional advantage.
Key Skills & Technical Expertise:
- Computer Vision & Deep Learning: Experience with OpenCV, YOLO, R-CNN, Mask R-CNN, EfficientNet.
- OCR & Symbol Extraction: Proficient with Tesseract, EasyOCR, and NLP for document parsing.
- Fine-Tuning & Transfer Learning: Familiarity with VLMs, CLIP, and Transformer-based architectures.
- Programming: Strong skills in Python and C++.
- Cloud & Deployment: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, TensorFlow Serving, and ONNX.
- Image Processing: Techniques for feature extraction, noise reduction, and compression.
General Skills & Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in computer vision solutions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in computer vision applications.
- Demonstrated capability to optimize AI pipelines for real-world datasets.
- Experience integrating AI models into software systems.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and DXF/DWF processing is considered a plus.
