Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:
- Implement various Data center networking technologies including Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, Core and Perimeter firewalls.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and troubleshoot issues during the implementation phase.
- Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, performing regular system maintenance, and applying patches and upgrades as necessary.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Data center networking solutions and processes.
- Ensure the customer’s solution is configured and deployed to specification, accurately, and on-time.
- Develop and maintain low-level designs, system diagrams, system installation configuration guides, support procedures, test plans, and runbooks.
- Work closely with Systems & Cloud Security teams to ensure solutions are deployed correctly.
- Act as Technical Lead to 3rd party vendors to ensure technical assurance and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in managing project scope, gathering client requirements, and aligning resources.
- Effectively communicate project objectives and complete project activities on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Develop implementation plans, operating procedures, and system documentation.
- Maintain recoverability and utilization rates as per targets.
- Support the establishment of new solutions and services, gaining skills in emerging technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert Routing and Switching/Security/Data Center (CCIE R&S/Security/Data Center).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional in Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) preferred.
- Palo Alto (PCNSE) or Fortinet NSE Certification.
- VMware VCIX-NV (preferred).
Minimum Experience:
- 8+ years of experience with Routing & Switching, Security, and Data Center Technologies.
- Excellent experience in designing and implementing Cisco ACI Network Centric based Data Center projects with Core and Perimeter Firewalls.
- Strong skills in producing and maintaining technical documentation like HLD, LLD, and network diagrams.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of Routing & Switching Technologies such as IGMP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VPNs.
- Experience with LAN Switch Technologies and hardware platforms like Nexus 9K and Catalyst Switches.
- Knowledge of firewalls such as FortiNet and Palo Alto, as well as NSX-T Security technologies.
- Experience with IP communications signaling and media protocols, including SIP and RTP.
- Proficiency in designing Data Center solutions with VXLAN Fabric-based SDN solutions and strong Cisco Nexus 9K platform knowledge.
