Job Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level network hardware and applications.
- Planning, configuring, and implementing data network and WiFi infrastructure in coordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure compliance with design parameters.
- Installation and configuration of firewalls.
- Providing post-sales support to customers.
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert and assisting with technical support issues as necessary.
- Assisting Technical Managers in the development and evaluation of new products and tools (including third-party products).
- Submitting weekly reports on all operations and projects to management, highlighting escalations and project-based cost savings.
- Troubleshooting and providing timely solutions for complex multi-vendor data networks.
- Providing support for project implementation and documentation.
- Preparing and validating Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), and other relevant project documents.
- Performing any other additional tasks assigned by the line manager that fall within the scope of work.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Electronics, Telecom, IT, or Computer Science.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise Network Implementation and Support.
Certifications
- CCIE and HCIE Certified Engineer.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of converged networks, Wireless, Security, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Network Management Software.
- Familiarity with SDN solutions.
- Proficient in implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco networking and WiFi solutions; knowledge of other networking products such as HP, Huawei, and Cambium is a plus.
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot at least one firewall product (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint).
- Comprehensive network lifecycle experience including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Solid grasp of IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), subnetting, and routing.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, and Netflow/Sflow etc.
- Good knowledge of LDAP, DNS, Radius, and TACACS+.
- Ability to liaise effectively with project management teams, superiors, and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
- Strong teamwork abilities, written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
