Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and evolve enterprise network access controls
- Manage and deploy "infrastructure as code" at scale
- Design, implement, manage, and defend a “zero trust”, defense-in-depth network
- Write quality policies, procedures, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal development teams to ensure network security principles are built-in from the beginning
- Work with Engineering and IT Security teams to ensure secure deployment and monitoring of product features
- Monitor and maintain all physical infrastructure, including network, security, and compute
- Respond to critical network problems to maximize service uptime
- Mentor and promote security practices through cross-functional collaboration
Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of network engineering experience, including offensive and defensive security
- Deep experience with public (AWS, Azure, Google) and private/hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proficient with network automation tools (e.g., Nornir, Napalm, Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with network security management tools and techniques
- Familiarity with security testing tools for performance and threats
- Demonstrated experience in network and security design, implementation, and administration using industry-standard platforms (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
- Knowledge of Switching (VLANs), Routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPN), and Security measures (IPS, RBAC)
- Experience with intrusion detection systems and firewall devices
