The purpose of this position is to support and maintain the network and our customer base. The main focus of this engineer will be implementing and maintaining IP network services, which may extend to core routers, switches, servers, and applications, as necessary. The network engineer will be involved in network installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and more.

Job Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level network hardware and applications.
- Planning, configuring, and implementing data network infrastructure and WiFi infrastructure in coordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure implementation meets design parameters.
- Installation and configuration of firewalls.
- Providing post-sales support to customers.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and assisting with technical support issues as required.
- Assisting Technical Managers in new product and tools development and evaluation (including 3rd party products).
- Submitting weekly reports on all operations and projects to management, clearly showing escalations where required along with project-based cost savings.
- Troubleshooting and providing solutions in a timely manner for complex multi-vendor data networks.
- Providing support for project implementation and documentation.
- Preparing/validating Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), and other project-related documents.
- Performing any additional tasks assigned by the line manager that are within the scope of work.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma engineer in Electronics, Telecom, IT, or Computer Science.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Enterprise Network Implementation and Support.
Certifications
- CCIE, HCIE Certified Engineer.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge in converged networks, Wireless, Security, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Network Management Software.
- Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions.
- Good implementation and troubleshooting knowledge in Cisco networking and WiFi solutions. Familiarity with other networking products like HP, Huawei, and Cambium will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in implementation and troubleshooting knowledge of at least one firewall product (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint).
- Full network lifecycle experience, including gathering requirements, testing, documentation, configuration, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), subnetting, and routing.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, and NetFlow/SFlow.
- Good understanding of LDAP, DNS, Radius, and TACACS+.
- Ability to liaise with project management teams, superiors, and service desk engineers regularly.
- Strong teamwork, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
