Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy network solutions that meet business requirements and support scalability.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network services with other systems.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and compliance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and technical staff.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices to continually improve the network infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on complex network environments.
- Strong expertise in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Proven experience in managing and configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
- In-depth knowledge of network security practices and tools.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE, are highly desirable.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
