Responsibilities:
- Implement various Data Center networking technologies, including Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, Core, and perimeter firewalls.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and troubleshoot any issues during the implementation phase.
- Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, performing system maintenance, and applying patches and upgrades as necessary.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Data Center networking solutions and processes.
- Ensure customer solutions are configured and deployed to specifications accurately and on time.
- Develop low-level designs, system diagrams, and installation configuration guides.
- Work closely with Systems & Cloud Security teams to ensure solutions are deployed as designed.
- Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause analysis.
- Manage project scope, gather client requirements, and create project schedules.
- Develop implementation plans, operating procedures, and operational/system documentation.
- Maintain recoverability and utilization rates as per targets.
- Gain skills and experience to implement emerging technologies and support partnership requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE R&S/Security/Data Center).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Collaboration).
- Palo Alto (PCNSE) or Fortinet NSE Certification.
- VMware VCIX-NV (preferred).
- Total of 8+ years of experience with Routing & Switching, Security, and Data Center Technologies.
- Excellent experience in designing and implementing Cisco ACI Network Centric-based Data Center projects with core and perimeter firewalls.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including IGMP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VLAN.
- Experience with LAN SW technologies, firewalls, and NSX-T security technologies.
- Expertise in data center solutions using VXLAN Fabric-based SDN solutions and strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9K platform.
