Senior Network Planner, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

As a Network Planner for the company Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will play a crucial role in expanding and scaling next-generation cloud services. You will be part of the Global Network Planning Group, making strategic decisions that shape our network infrastructure, data center subsea strategy, and market presence. Your strong relationships with subsea providers will be essential for OCI's growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business development initiatives for network growth by evaluating and selecting optimal data center partners and locations.
• Negotiate connectivity agreements and commercial deals that meet technical requirements and support growth.
• Develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models for deal analysis in new and existing markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on long-term subsea strategy with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between OCI's technical teams and subsea provider operations teams.
• Represent OCI to senior technical leaders and executives at partner companies.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with subsea partners and data center operators.
• Negotiate favorable terms, SLAs, and pricing structures with subsea providers.
• Stay informed about industry trends, mergers and acquisitions, and new market entrants in the subsea space.
• Document decisions and recommendations for internal technical leadership, VPs, and SVPs.
