Join our client's elite cybersecurity team as a Senior Network Security Engineer and help us design, manage, and optimize cutting-edge intrusion detection and prevention systems.

You’ll work closely with Red and Blue Teams, interface with clients, and lead the charge in delivering robust, scalable security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure, tune, and manage Snort v2 & v3 IDS/IPS systems.
• Operate Cisco Firepower and IPS/IDS platforms.
• Analyze traffic, logs, and packet captures to detect and respond to threats.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and clients to define and deliver security solutions.
• Maintain and document network security architecture.
• Optimize detection signatures and rule sets based on threat intelligence.
• Evaluate and integrate new threat detection technologies.
• Ensure platform security through patching, configuration reviews, and vulnerability mitigation.

Requirements

• 8+ years in network security engineering.
• Expert-level Snort v2/v3 experience (rule creation & tuning).
• Strong hands-on Cisco IPS/IDS and Firepower Management Center skills.
• Deep understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
• Skilled in packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CCIE Security (preferred or in progress)
• Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Core or Firepower
• GIAC (GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent
• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or similar
