Senior Network & Security Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Network & Security Engineer for a leading Semi-Government client in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure in large-scale environments.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Contract (6 Months, Extendable)

Requirements:
Skills:

• Thorough understanding and experience in network LAN solutions and technologies, including campus switching, complex multi routing, WAN, SD-WAN, PBR, non-blocking datacenter technologies.
• Advanced understanding of wireless technologies, including wireless profiles, RF manipulation in 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies.
• Expertise in designing and troubleshooting routing protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS, MPLS, and re-distribution.
• Proficiency in advanced switching protocols, including spanning tree, port-channels, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP.
• Strong knowledge of security solutions, including IPS/IDS and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco Intent based networking (Cisco DNA) and Meraki platforms is advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of Cloud, Datacenter networking, computing, and security.
• Experience on multiple monitoring and reporting platforms including Riverbed, ManageEngine, SolarWinds, PRTG, ZABIX.

Hands-on Experience Required:

• Cisco Catalyst and Nexus (ACI and NX-OS modes).
• Aruba, Cisco, and Ruckus enterprise wireless systems.
• Fortinet, Palo-Alto, FTD, Juniper, and Sophos Next-Gen Firewalls.
• Cisco and FortiGate SD-WAN solutions and platforms.

Qualifications:
Mandatory:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• CCNP Enterprise.
• CCNP Security / FCP / PCNSA.

Preferred:

• CCIE Enterprise or Security.
• CCNP Data Center.
• ITIL Certification.
