Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Architect and develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and GraphQL services supporting enterprise web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement distributed systems and microservices architectures with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, fault tolerance, and high availability.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient JavaScript and TypeScript code following engineering best practices.
- Integrate backend services with relational and NoSQL databases while ensuring performance optimization and data consistency.
- Build secure server-side applications with strong authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, code reviews, and engineering governance.
- Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using modern testing frameworks.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure platform reliability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment automation, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Experience developing enterprise backend applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience building GraphQL APIs.
- Strong experience designing microservices-based architectures.
- Strong experience with both relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience working on enterprise payment platforms.
