Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the P2P stack.
- Contribute to expanding the ecosystem with reliable and scalable code.
- Write modular, maintainable code to enhance application performance.
- Create and manage reusable npm modules.
- Test and debug applications efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in P2P technologies and distributed systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Node.js development with a focus on production-scale applications.
- Strong competency in writing modular, maintainable code.
- Solid skillset in testing and debugging skills.
- Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JS to lower-level code.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize network protocols or systems for latency and throughput.
- Familiarity with advanced networking concepts.
- Contributions to Open Source Software (OSS) projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology.
