Responsibilities
As a Node.js Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our P2P stack and expanding our ecosystem, which includes over 1500 public npm modules and a robust, modular codebase.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Node.js development with production-scale applications.
- Strong competency in writing modular, maintainable code.
- Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules.
- Solid skillset in testing and debugging.
- Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team; good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++), or binding JS to lower-level code.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize network protocols or systems: latency, throughput, etc.
- Familiarity with advanced networking concepts.
- Past contributions to open-source software projects, especially in P2P or decentralized tech.
