Senior O365 Engineer

About the Job:
Penta Consulting is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are looking for an experienced Senior O365 Engineer to support one of our key clients across the UAE.

As a Senior O365 Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing a complex Microsoft-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be located in the UAE and available to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory, Office 365, Azure services, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer and optimize virtualized environments (Hyper-V, VMware) to ensure scalability and performance.
• Lead or participate in migrations, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across server, identity, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure security best practices are enforced across all systems and configurations.
• Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and ongoing operations.

Key Requirements:

• Deep expertise in Active Directory, O365 administration, Azure IaaS/PaaS, and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Strong experience in virtualization platforms including Hyper-V.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and managing incident response.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation tools is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security policies, and identity/access management.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, Azure Administrator/Architect) are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
