Senior Onsite Support Engineer

The Senior Onsite Support Engineer at DXC Technology plays a vital role in designing, deploying, migrating, managing, and changing infrastructure services and End User Services across various technologies. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the management and operation of infrastructure services, providing support to the team.
• Contributing to the implementation of infrastructure strategies and projects.
• Maintaining the performance and availability of infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborating with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and supporting design and/or implementation.
• Participating in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within infrastructure services.
• Assisting in the development of infrastructure documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
• Contributing to the optimization of resource allocation for infrastructure tasks and projects.
• Communicating effectively to provide support and collaborate with team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology management.
• Proficient in technical knowledge and teamwork.
• A continuous learner who stays updated with industry knowledge and technology.

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Cloud Practitioner, are a plus.
