We are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to join our technical operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily operations and support of regulated platforms, employing a 24/7 NOC shift rotation. Strong system reliability engineering capabilities and an awareness of financial compliance are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, maintain, and provide daily support for cloud platform UAT and production environments.
- Manage Linux systems, including security hardening, version updates, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a senior support staff for L2/L3 production incidents, leading root cause analysis and promoting permanent fixes.
- Support the smooth operation of internal microservice architecture, assisting in identifying runtime issues at the business layer and participating in on-call duties.
- Use performance metrics and log data to diagnose application-level performance bottlenecks.
- Drive security vulnerability remediation of operating systems, middleware, and cloud infrastructure, while collaborating with security, SOC, and NOC teams for incident response and post-mortem analysis.
- Guide junior engineers to ensure quality issue handovers and resolution closure.
- Utilize ITSM tools for incident, problem, and change management.
- Prepare and maintain operation manuals, monitoring dashboards, and operational documentation.
- Continuously improve platform reliability using automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and script development.
Requirements:
- Over 4 years of experience in technical operations, infrastructure, SRE, or production operations.
- Practical experience with Azure and RHEL.
- Experience in supporting Java microservices and middleware platforms in production environments, familiar with Spring Boot framework and service communication frameworks (including service discovery and client load balancing).
- Familiarity with JVM observability, capable of diagnosing memory, GC, thread, and latency performance issues.
- Proficiency in Java and Python, with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated script development.
- Strong incident management and root cause analysis capabilities; familiarity with ITIL processes (incident management, problem management, change management).
- Management, development, and operations capability of observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK); familiarity with Elasticsearch is preferred.
- English proficiency at a business communication level; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
