Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using the OutSystems platform.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom integrations, APIs, and backend services using .NET/C#.
- Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Develop reusable components and ensure adherence to OutSystems development best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, and other development teams.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and support.
- Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and usability standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest OutSystems, .NET, and software development technologies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with significant hands-on experience in OutSystems.
- Strong experience developing applications using OutSystems.
- Strong programming experience with .NET / C#.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, web services, and system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with application architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications
- OutSystems Certification is required/preferred.
- Microsoft/.NET certification is an advantage.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure are an advantage.
