As a Senior Partner Solution Engineer at Snowflake, you should share our passion for innovating through the AI Data Cloud. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and must demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach to getting things done. You should be comfortable engaging in both business and technical contexts, capable of interacting with executives and inspiring technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to decision-makers and technical contributors at partners, prospects, and customers.
- Work hands-on with partners and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle.
- Build technical champions within our partners and grow the local Snowflake technical community.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors to effectively position Snowflake.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales environment working directly with consulting & System Integration (SI) partners.
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu or through structured presentations and demos.
- Broad experience in large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL.
- Experience in data engineering and data science is highly desirable, as is hands-on experience with Python.
- Ability to connect specific business problems to Snowflake’s solutions.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Flexibility to travel within the UAE.
- Preferable experience in the UAE market.
