Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Build and maintain ETL/data-load routines feeding the ODS from core banking and source systems.
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and execution-plan analysis.
- Design data models and support data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across ODS and downstream reporting systems.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather data requirements and translate them into database solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues within agreed SLAs.
- Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and unit/system test cases.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), including performance tuning and indexing strategies.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing/ODS concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Experience working with large-scale banking data (core banking, CRM, AML, or similar).
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for job scheduling and automation.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to data accuracy and completeness.
