Position

At IFS, as a Senior Presales Consultant, you will collaborate with account teams, prospects, and existing customers to qualify and scope requirements, aiming to help them understand how IFS Enterprise Service Management Solutions will deliver positive outcomes for their organization. You will be comfortable engaging closely with external stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical management, and architectural teams to position IFS as the partner of choice for adopting and enabling IFS solutions across our core industry verticals. Often, you will serve as the main interface between our customers and local & offshore delivery teams, focusing on mid to large enterprises within six key verticals: Aerospace & Defense, Energy/Utilities & Resources, Manufacturing, Engineering/Construction & Infrastructure, Service, and Telecoms. This role requires industry knowledge in these sectors to serve as a trusted advisor and key technology ambassador for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a strong voice for our customers, bringing technical, industry, and business acumen to the forefront to meet their needs.
  • Establish a deep understanding of our customers’ business and technical requirements.
  • Create a "trusted technical advisor" relationship with our customer’s technologists and internal technical teams.
  • Develop solution architecture frameworks to support enterprise-level solution selling, providing vision, defining system and application architecture, and anticipating and solving problems across the landscape.
  • Lead change across large platforms/function areas utilizing technology solutions.
  • Provide software/hardware technical architecture expertise to ensure proper solution design.
  • Interface with all Pre-Sales Solutions Architects globally to train, mentor, and guide them through a new solution architecture framework as part of building a community.
  • Participate in key customer-facing events, particularly in C-level discussions.
  • Shape, drive, and be accountable for delivering significant strategic initiatives across broad scopes/platforms in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Background in presales consulting with 5+ years of experience in software presales.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and/or IT Service Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on market and customer trends.
  • Resilient, proactive, and inquisitive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 50% or more).
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
