Position

As a Senior Presales Consultant at IFS, you will collaborate with account teams, prospects, and existing customers to qualify and scope requirements, enabling them to understand how IFS ERP, EAM, and Service Management Solutions can deliver positive outcomes for their organization. You will engage with external stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical management, and architectural teams, positioning IFS as the partner of choice for adopting and enabling our solutions in key industry verticals such as Aerospace & Defense, Energy/Utilities & Resources, Manufacturing, Engineering/Construction & Infrastructure, Service, and Telecoms.

This customer-facing role demands comfort in providing complex solutions, involving requirements gathering, solution configuration, delivering both executive and detailed presentations, and acting as a solution evangelist at conferences and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for customers by bringing technical, industry, and business insights to address their needs.
  • Deeply understand customer business and technical requirements.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers’ technical teams.
  • Develop an enterprise-level solution architecture framework for solution selling.
  • Lead change in large platforms/functional areas with technology solutions.
  • Offer technical architecture expertise for proper solution design.
  • Collaborate globally with Pre-Sales Solutions Architects to train and guide them through the new architecture framework.
  • Represent IFS at key customer-facing events, particularly in C-level discussions.
  • Drive and be accountable for significant strategic initiatives across platforms in coordination with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in presales consulting, particularly in software presales.
  • Strong grasp of ERP and/or Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, science, engineering, technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound decision-making based on market and customer trends.
  • Resilient, proactive, and naturally inquisitive.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% or more.
  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Arabic is required.
