Senior Presales Solution Architect

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect who will primarily work from home. This role involves architecting solutions that achieve customer business outcomes across various technical domains. The successful candidate will develop and articulate compelling proposals, ensuring that customer business and technical requirements are met.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time
Language Requirements: Proficient in English and applicable local languages as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in one or more solution domains, including company products and customer environments.
• Develop and critically review customer proposals, managing expectations of internal stakeholders.
• Quantify the impact of business issues, position business value, and assess the strengths and weaknesses of proposed solutions.
• Translate outcome-based solutions into functional and technical designs aligned with customer needs.
• Communicate the value propositions of solutions to address customer needs effectively.
• Actively track emerging technologies and contribute to industry development through participation in conferences and events.
• Build and nurture customer relationships, advocating for technical strategies that support transformation goals.
• Monitor account pipelines and participate in sales forecast meetings to expedite the sales lifecycle.

Education and Experience:

• First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8–12 years of technical experience in IT focusing on technical consulting and solution selling.
• Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expertise in solution configuration and creating demos or proofs-of-concept.
• Strong understanding of the company portfolio, capabilities in solutions, and ability to prioritize for optimal outcomes.
• Advanced communication skills, including active listening and storytelling capabilities in both English and local languages.
• Demonstrated ability in consultative selling and knowledge of the sales cycle.
