We are seeking an experienced Principal System Engineer to act as the Design Authority for advanced Precision Guided Munition (PGM) systems. This senior technical leadership position is responsible for the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements definition, system architecture, integration, verification, qualification, and ongoing product enhancement. The successful candidate will ensure weapon systems meet operational, performance, quality, reliability, and safety requirements while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Engineering:

    • Lead systems engineering for PGM programs.
    • Develop system-level requirements and maintain overall system architecture.
    • Act as Design Authority for assigned weapon systems.
  • Integration, Verification & Qualification:

    • Oversee integration activities across subsystems.
    • Define and execute verification strategies and lead qualification activities.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:

    • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with military standards and engineering processes.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
    • Provide mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Product Development & Continuous Improvement:

    • Support development and testing of PGM subsystems.
    • Monitor emerging technologies to enhance operational capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Formal training in Systems Engineering is desirable.

  • Experience:

    • 10-15 years of defense industry experience.
    • Proven experience in the design, integration, and qualification of aerospace or defense systems.
    • Experience in regulated military or defense environments.

Language Requirements:
English proficiency is required.
