Role Summary
The Senior Procurement Manager will lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activities for the business unit. This involves engaging with asset scope owners, technical, commercial, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to develop fit-for-purpose procurement strategies. The role will ensure compliant, timely, and commercially robust outcomes while managing complex tender processes, supporting governance and approval requirements, maintaining accurate procurement records in SAP Ariba, and driving consistency, continuous improvement, and best practice across the procurement lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities and manage complex tender processes
- Develop procurement strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance and timely delivery of procurement packages
- Maintain accurate procurement records in SAP Ariba
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement in procurement practices
- Manage and prioritize the workload of the procurement team
- Foster collaborative relationships across departments
- Drive a culture of flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
Professional Certifications
Holding one of the following certifications is an advantage:
- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma (CIPS)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ relevant procurement management experience within mega/large scale complex design and construction programs
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software, such as SAP Ariba or similar systems
- Expert knowledge of procurement legislation and its practical application
- Previous experience in KSA/Middle East preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal skills in English for effective communication
- Strong leadership skills to guide the function's direction
- Experience in fostering team collaboration and cross-departmental integration
- Ability to connect people and issues to drive a quick response
Benefits and Additional Information
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba is mandatory; familiarity with Fiori and Sirion is preferred.
