Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the lifecycle of design system tokens, components, and patterns from inception to deprecation.
- Establish standards for design consistency across all platforms (iOS, Android, web) and locales, including RTL/Arabic requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cross-component consistency.
- Champion accessibility and ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines.
- Implement AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance design efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate design patterns into deployable components.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of product design experience, with at least 3 years focused on design systems in scale (preferably in multi-brand or super-app environments).
- Advanced knowledge of component APIs, token architecture, and library management.
- Experience in building workflows with AI tools (e.g., Figma Plugin API).
- Proficiency in prototyping with JavaScript/TypeScript and managing design token pipelines.
- Excellent English writing and presentation skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with RTL/Arabic-first products or within the Middle East market.
- Familiarity with production design-to-code pipelines and open-source contributions to the AI × design community.
