Key Responsibilities:
- Develop deep domain knowledge of the Fintech domain and collaborate to solve complex problems.
- Understand the problem space through generative research, synthesizing insights, and running workshops to design an exceptional customer experience.
- Govern and improve the design system while ensuring it is applied across different areas of our product.
- Create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems with high attention to detail and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define focus areas and contribute to the overall product direction.
- Continuously gather user feedback throughout the problem-solving process.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate ideas and solicit feedback.
- Use and evolve our design system to create flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for features.
- Improve design processes, knowledge, and tools to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Foster collaboration within the design chapter and other departments.
- Regularly present work to peers, stakeholders, and leaders for feedback.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Previous experience working in the Saudi market and/or with start-ups.
- Experience in Fintech, B2B, or Banking domain is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in agile or Scrum-based environments, particularly within KSA-based start-ups.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable mobile and web products.
- Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Notion is advantageous.
- Experience in building and managing design systems is highly desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
- Portfolio or a Figma file demonstrating work is required.
