Senior Product Engineer - Finacle

Virtusa is seeking a Senior Product Engineer with extensive experience in the Finacle Core Banking product. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of product experience specifically with Finacle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in product capability and customization architecture for Finacle 11.
• Handle Finacle interfacing requirements, including custom and product APIs (Connect 24, Finacle Integrator).
• Directly interact with clients to gather requirements and offer solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Finacle product architecture and customization layers.
• Familiarity with Finacle customization flow, including new custom menus, reports, batch jobs, and debugging processes (EOD-BOD).
• Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Experience in Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and report design.
• Knowledge of Finacle Integrator and potential enhancements.

Functional Skills:

• Solid understanding of the banking domain and relevant terminologies.
• Finacle certification from Infosys is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Finacle CRM and Admin module (FINFADM/SSOADM).
• Adherence to coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Commitment to ensuring quality in technical architecture and design across the organization.
