Senior Product Owner

About the Job:

Synechron is seeking a Senior Product Owner with over 8 years of experience to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital card products (debit, credit, prepaid, and virtual cards) within the bank’s digital ecosystem. This role involves managing the design, build, and launch of new digital credit card businesses while ensuring alignment with local regulations and customer needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the digital cards strategy; develop a multi-year product roadmap.
• Regional Expansion & New Market Launch: Lead the setup of new digital credit card businesses through market research and competitive analysis.
• Product Development & Delivery: Drive initiatives such as virtual card issuance and wallet integrations; collaborate with technology and operations teams.
• Customer Experience & Innovation: Improve customer journeys and leverage insights to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
• Regulatory & Risk Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and embed strong controls while maintaining customer convenience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years’ experience in digital product management, ideally with 5 years in cards and payments.
• Proven experience in launching financial products in new markets, especially in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of card issuing, processing, tokenization, and digital wallets.

• Deep expertise in digital payments and card issuance.
• Strong Agile product ownership skills, experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on customer-centric design.
