Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to deliver on-time and high-quality high assurance network products.
- Demonstrate prior experience managing hardware and/or software development projects.
- Understand security technology, such as VPN and cryptography, and high security requirements such as Common Criteria and FIPS.
- Help set delivery strategy, execute on schedule, and manage program deliverables with internal teams through appropriate communication, methodical documentation, and escalation.
- Report directly to the Program Director with a dotted line to the CEO's office based on deliverables.
Education and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prince 2 or PMP Certification.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing projects across the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and hardware development cycle.
- Previous software engineering project or program management experience in the phone software or security industry.
Key Skills:
- Manage the full software and hardware development life cycle from design, development, testing, release planning, to release review and go-to-market.
- Strong technical background with the ability to prioritize and drive issues to closure while keeping the big picture in sight.
- Understanding of high assurance security requirements (Common Criteria, FIPS, etc.) and related development methodologies.
- Experience with network product development (routers, switches, or firewalls).
- Familiarity with security technology, e.g., VPN and cryptography.
