The company is seeking a motivated individual for the ACES (Customer Excellence Systems) Program Manager III position within its MEATR operations team. As an ACES Program Manager III, you will become the subject matter expert for Rush operations, focusing on enhancing quality and delivery experience across the Rush network. You will tackle complex problems with simple, practical solutions by leveraging a deep understanding of operational processes and the company's technologies. This position plays a crucial role in balancing transportation impacts on customer experience and operational efficiency, monitoring metrics, and driving initiatives to foster improvements. The role requires a balance of judgment and decision-making abilities, with an emphasis on the financial implications of all action plans. You will gain broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within the company.

The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous situations and possesses the skill to design and define products and programs with limited information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, alongside the ability to maintain urgency and lead cross-functional projects with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, technical teams, finance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the quality and delivery experience improvement roadmap
  • Collaborate with DEX and Speed teams on program launches
  • Conduct data-driven analysis for pilot and expansion evaluations
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders (DEX, Finance, Tech, Ops)
  • Build scalable mechanisms such as Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and dashboards
  • Work closely with finance Business Partners on planning cycle assumptions (OP1, QxG, 3YF)
  • Write detailed 6-pagers/narratives to communicate findings and recommendations

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in driving process improvements
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field
