Senior Project Engineer

About the Job:
Provides project delivery capability within the Project Management Office (PMO) for WCS. Responsible for project scheduling, tender management, coordination of live projects, cost and budget control, risk and variation management, and client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Work Conditions:
Full-time, 1-year contract

Job Dimensions:

• Direct Reports: None
• Indirect Reports: Contractors and WCS site staff

Job Accountabilities:

• Deliver projects across WCS business in coordination with stakeholders
• Manage project scope, timeline, cost, and resources
• Administer project plans using MS Project
• Monitor project risks, variations, and deviations
• Produce weekly and monthly project status reports
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ensure safety standards and policies are followed
• Act as WCS ambassador with clients and stakeholders

Key Deliverables:

• Achieve PMO KPIs
• Meet budget and revenue targets
• Maintain clear and timely stakeholder communication

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in heavy industries
• Experience in marine/port operations preferred
• Crane experience desirable
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Communication:

• Internal: Daily interaction with WCS staff
• External: Interaction with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders

Decision-Making Authority:
Within WCS policies and defined authority limits
