Senior Project Engineer

About the Role

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for all engineering and technical tasks involved in a project, including scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing all related activities aimed at timely deliverables and client satisfaction. This role requires regular communication with clients and oversight of project teams to optimize performance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to interpret their needs and requirements, representing them on site.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.
• Assign responsibilities, review deliverables, initiate corrective actions, and mentor the project team.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager(s) and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Lead primary design direction and collaboration between teams.
• Develop and present all RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) responses.
• Implement safety procedures and guidelines for safe working conditions within all facilities.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Perform overall quality control and report regularly on project status.
• Evaluate the interface between hardware, software, and performance requirements of overall systems in place.
• Prepare and submit status and other relevant project reports.
• Modify project plans and schedules to ensure contract parameters are met.
• Analyze project performance and related metrics, recommending solutions to optimize workflows and efficiency.

Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Solar Energy within the region.
