Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical lead, approving design deliverables and reviewing project documents for safety and quality.
- Anticipate and solve crucial issues, serving as a specialist in advanced concepts and methods.
- Act as design authority for engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities while providing technical support.
- Engage with customers to drive solution delivery and improvements based on feedback.
- Participate in project meetings to resolve technical issues and meet contractual obligations.
- Prepare proposals/presentations for engineering projects and conduct Project Peer-Reviews.
- Contribute to workshops on engineering design, tools, and processes.
- Coach engineering colleagues on translating designs into documentation and best practices.
Qualifications for the Role:
- Engineering Degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in networking and cyber security systems, particularly within oil and gas sectors.
- Expertise in designing and implementing Operational Technology (OT) network solutions for control systems.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices specific to OT environments.
- Familiarity with OT-specific cybersecurity standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and hands-on experience with industrial network devices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.
