The company is looking for an incredibly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a major rail project in the UAE on behalf of the Client. The Project Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of all package activities within a high-speed rail project. This includes supporting the management and coordination of key stakeholders across all project phases, including design, planning, procurement, construction, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of project delivery from concept through to completion.
• Monitor the performance of the PMEC and Contractor in adherence to the established packaging strategy, including schedule, cost, and standards compliance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
• Oversee necessary permits and approvals required from relevant authorities.
• Implement quality standards and conduct periodic inspections to ensure compliance with established specifications.
• Manage interfaces between work packages and systems to ensure effective integration.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and provide clear, regular progress reporting.
• Manage contract delivery within the wider programme environment, including change control.
• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and best practices across the project team.
• Monitor and report project activity progress to Client management.
• Establish necessary project management plans and work with key project staff to address potential cost overruns or delays.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Chartered Engineer Status, with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in managing design and/or construction of rail projects, preferably HSR. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly in major railway and transit projects.
• Proven construction management capabilities.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness within a project environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical subjects to non-technical leaders.
• Experience functioning in a multi-organizational environment and developing collaborative relationships.
• A proactive leader with a track record of successful project delivery and a deep understanding of railway engineering complexities.
• Self-motivated, creative thinker, and problem solver with a “go-getter” mindset.

Desired Skills:

• Relevant project or construction management certification (e.g., PMP, CCM or equivalent).
• Proven experience on High-Speed Rail projects is highly desirable.
• Experience in the GCC/UAE region.
