Senior Project Manager

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Project Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will mobilize company resources to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work. You will act as the company's representative with the client and selected subcontractors during program execution, negotiating changes to the scope of work as necessary.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
• Participating in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
• Overseeing the establishment of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents.
• Establishing program requirements for all project areas, monitoring draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
• Collaborating with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements.
• Ensuring the project meets or exceeds established goals, and devising and executing action plans to address potential cost overruns or delays.
• Advising clients and company management of any changes and maintaining current and timely change orders.
• Promoting technical and commercial excellence on the project through the application of Quality Assurance processes.
• Monitoring and reporting project activity progress, including significant milestones and any conditions affecting project cost or schedule.
• Establishing weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of related engineering construction management experience on large-scale roads and infrastructure programs.
• At least 5 years of experience on Abu Dhabi projects, with major project experience of AED1B+.
• Professional registration may also be required.
• Ability to manage projects and interface with clients while being hands-on technically.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
• Must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity with excellent written and oral communication skills.
