The company is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager - Data Centers to join our team! In this role, you will lead, govern, and deliver a large-scale, mission-critical data center campus.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the overall lead for the Project Management Consultant (PMC), with accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, and delivery outcomes across all project phases.
- Act as the primary senior interface with the Employer, leading governance forums, escalation processes, and strategic decision-making.
- Establish and implement a disciplined project governance framework, including reporting cadence, controls, dashboards, and decision logs.
- Lead and integrate a multi-disciplinary PMC team including construction, technical, commercial, planning, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and commissioning.
- Oversee the development and execution of the Project Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with Employer standards, global design requirements, and readiness for service commitments.
- Manage programme certainty, ensuring early identification of risks, protected commissioning milestones, and timely escalation of schedule threats with recovery strategies.
- Provide senior oversight of FIDIC contract administration, ensuring fair, impartial determinations while safeguarding the Employer’s commercial and risk position.
- Champion a zero-harm culture by ensuring HSE leadership is embedded across all stakeholders.
- Drive a quality-first delivery approach, ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes support long-term operational reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience leading large, complex PMC or Project Management Office (PMO) assignments for mission-critical infrastructure projects, particularly in the data center sector.
- Strong capability in programme governance, risk management, and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and the ability to exercise independent and defensible professional judgment.
- Experience managing multi-package delivery environments with numerous consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors.
- Track record of maintaining delivery certainty under high commercial, operational, and schedule pressure.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Data Center with relevant experience, education, and training.
- Experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise data center campuses in phased, live-environment conditions.
- Strong understanding of commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and readiness for service in mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with digital project controls platforms (e.g., Procore, SmartSheets, SharePoint) and data-driven reporting environments.
- Experience working within the Middle East regulatory, authority approval, and delivery landscape.
- Leadership presence capable of representing the company and the Employer credibly at executive, authority, and board-level forums.
