As a Senior Project Manager (Design), you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including the development of scope, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and implementation strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing client relationships and ensuring project requirements, expectations, and deliverables are met.
- Monitoring project performance, resources, budgets, and schedules, implementing corrective actions to address risks and challenges.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activities for efficient project delivery.
- Leading project staffing, team development, and performance management.
- Managing project documentation, reporting, and change control.
- Chairing project meetings and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in roads and infrastructure design projects.
- At least 5 years of Project Manager experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure design projects within budget and schedule.
- Strong project management principles and contract administration knowledge.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Must have Abu Dhabi experience.
Desired Skills:
- Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC region.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements and approval processes.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent accreditation is advantageous.
