As a Senior Project Manager - Development (Design) in Abu Dhabi, you will:
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including preparing correspondence, written reports, and presentations for the Government and senior personnel.
- Schedule and coordinate project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.
- Manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.
- Integrate competing elements into the planning and execution processes so that project needs flow smoothly.
- Mobilize company resources to create project teams capable of delivering effective, quality work.
- Collaborate with office facilities staff to address project space requirements.
- Act as the company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during project execution.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and subcontractors, and market additional work to clients.
- Oversee the establishment of Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans, and other necessary documents.
- Monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence to project requirements and ensure project goals are met.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related technical/business field.
- 20+ years of related project/construction/engineering management experience on large-scale programs with a heavy emphasis on development.
- Experience leading development delivery on large-scale projects with Abu Dhabi developers.
- Strong technical and business background; professional registration may be required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of integration of engineering/technical aspects, project controls, contracts, procurement, and construction activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and project management practices.
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in Management or Engineering.
- 10+ years of delivery experience on large-scale masterplans (infrastructure, mixed-use, residential, commercial, etc.).
- 2+ years of UAE experience.
- Advanced knowledge of MS 365 and engineering/construction software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM).
- Skills in deploying and utilizing AI Construction Monitoring services is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment.
