Project Overview:
Expo 2030 Riyadh will be a global platform highlighting sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking, expected to attract over 40 million visitors. The company will manage the infrastructure program, which includes early works, utilities, and publicly accessible spaces, transitioned into a mixed-use legacy development post-event.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support the construction team in delivering design, procurement, and compliance oversight.
- Resolve non-standard issues using industry experience and innovative approaches.
- Oversee contractor performance, project scheduling, and cost control.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
- Engage with a multi-functional team to manage project performance.
- Monitor site activities for safety and quality compliance.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 25 years of experience on large infrastructure projects, including 10 years as a Project Manager and 5 years in a Senior Leadership position.
- Experience in the KSA / Middle East / GCC is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of project phases, contracting strategy, budget approvals, and contractor performance management.
- Understanding of industry/regulatory codes and ES&H requirements.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
Language Requirements:
- Proficient in English; Arabic speaking is advantageous.
