You'll Make an Impact By:
- Managing customer projects end-to-end across the full project lifecycle, from handover through final acceptance, ensuring accountability for cost, schedule, quality, EHS, and customer satisfaction.
- Actively steering project planning, execution, monitoring, and control in alignment with PM@the company standards.
- Identifying and managing risks, opportunities, changes, and claims, while articulating mitigations and commercial impacts.
- Coordinating cross-functional and cross-regional project teams, including engineering centers, partners, and subcontractors.
- Supporting proposal development, contract clarification, and customer discussions by leveraging project execution expertise and solution knowledge.
Your Success is Grounded In
- 10+ years of experience in solution or automation project execution, with several years acting as a Project Manager responsible for medium to large, cross-organizational projects.
- Strong mastery of project management across the full lifecycle, inclusive of project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and governance in line with PM@the company standards.
- Proven competence in risk management, change management, claim management, and contract interpretation, including identifying commercial impacts and mitigation strategies.
- A solid understanding of industrial automation and process control solutions, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLC, and HMI-based systems.
- Hands-on project experience with the company automation and digitalization products such as SIMATIC PCS 7 (DCS), SIMATIC S7 (PLC), and WinCC / HMI systems, alongside integration of industrial communication technologies.
- Familiarity with functional safety concepts and standards (e.g., IEC 61508) as applied in automation projects.
- Strong commercial and financial project acumen, including cost controlling, cash flow management, invoicing, forecasting, and collaboration with commercial project management and finance teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders—including customers, internal engineering teams, global engineering centers, suppliers, and partners—without direct line management authority.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to clearly articulate technical solutions and the company capabilities to customers.
- High level of intercultural competence and experience working in international, virtual, and cross-regional project environments.
- Fluency in English for professional project communication; the ability to confidently engage in customer meetings, reviews, and negotiations.
