Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and control all business, technical, commercial, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned infrastructure project.
- Lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure construction works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.
- Establish and oversee implementation of project execution, health and safety, quality, environmental, and risk management plans.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams, allocating responsibilities and mobilizing resources to achieve project objectives.
- Act as the primary client interface, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project planning and controls, including budgets, schedules, risk management, change management, and recovery strategies to address project challenges.
- Oversee contractor performance and coordination with consultants, utility authorities, and government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations while promoting technical and commercial excellence.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for project personnel to develop high-performing teams.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional services and maintaining strong client relationships.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 18 years experience in the design and construction of infrastructure project delivery, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
- Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from construction through handover.
- Strong understanding of design delivery for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, and public realm works.
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration, and project controls.
- Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams in a project management capacity.
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, project administration, construction management systems, and best practices in infrastructure delivery.
- Experience coordinating with government agencies and utility providers throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Professional certification such as PMP or PgMP is a plus.
