Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Transportation or Supply Chain Management Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of 3PL operations, warehousing, freight forwarding, or shipping processes to identify opportunities for GAC IT solutions that enhance efficiency, visibility, and customer satisfaction.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and manage third-party vendors and partners involved in IT project delivery, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver quality solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may impact project success, budget, or timeline.
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and technology assets, to achieve project objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and open communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and issue resolution.
- Technology Proficiency: Possess a strong understanding of IT systems, software, and tools relevant to supply chain management, transportation management, and ERP systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Software Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects in the transportation or supply chain domain.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
