As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage Project Managers across a variety of luxury projects while providing direction and management for large-scale projects or several small projects. Your primary responsibility will involve ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. You will oversee scope development, scope management, and the commercial performance of projects to meet established goals and objectives.

Job Description:

  • Provide direction and management overseeing all Project Managers (PMs) to ensure on-schedule completion and budget adherence.
  • Set strategic goals for PMs and projects, aligning them with the goals of the Country Manager and corporate strategy.
  • Oversee delivery and success of the projects; inform the Country Manager on progress and performance.
  • Establish program requirements for all project areas and ensure deliverables adhere to these criteria.
  • Develop and oversee Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans.
  • Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution.
  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to market and secure additional work with clients.
  • Distribute project summaries to all project team members for reference.
  • Work with key project individuals to address potential cost overruns or delays.
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
  • Monitor and report project progress to the Country Manager, including significant milestones.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction and design management, particularly in luxury hospitality projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of program management, engineering principles, and strategic industry best practices and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, corporate, and project managers.
  • Advanced leadership skills with the capacity to manage teams and complex problem-solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of current technology applicable to projects.

Language Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in English is expected.
