Job Description:
- Provide direction and management overseeing all Project Managers (PMs) to ensure on-schedule completion and budget adherence.
- Set strategic goals for PMs and projects, aligning them with the goals of the Country Manager and corporate strategy.
- Oversee delivery and success of the projects; inform the Country Manager on progress and performance.
- Establish program requirements for all project areas and ensure deliverables adhere to these criteria.
- Develop and oversee Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans.
- Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.
- Collaborate with Business Development to market and secure additional work with clients.
- Distribute project summaries to all project team members for reference.
- Work with key project individuals to address potential cost overruns or delays.
- Promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
- Monitor and report project progress to the Country Manager, including significant milestones.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction and design management, particularly in luxury hospitality projects.
- Thorough knowledge of program management, engineering principles, and strategic industry best practices and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, corporate, and project managers.
- Advanced leadership skills with the capacity to manage teams and complex problem-solving.
- Advanced knowledge of current technology applicable to projects.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in English is expected.
